What is Sana GNU/Linux? Sana Desktop, a desktop-oriented GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian’s “testing” branch. Using Gnome 3.36 as the default desktop, it is a light-weight operating system designed to provide an efficient desktop with simple configuration, high stability, and solid performance for organizations and enterprises. Sans Desktop comes with its own repository as well as Debian repositories. Furthermore, Sana Desktop provides users with the a Persian environment and utilities like Persian calendar, fonts, etc. Last but not least, Sana Desktop presents an easy and straight-forward Persian installer which is based on Calamares.

Sana OS release license
Because Sana’s operating system is based on the Debian distribution, the Sana content release license is exactly what is stated in the Debian release license, and the goal in the Sana team / community is to ensure that all actions are in line with this release license and software release.
